Throughout the summer, Misano Adriatico is transformed into a giant stage, with plenty of free events for both adults and children. There is a whole range of cultural events and entertainment every day, including concerts, dance, folk festivals, puppet shows and cabaret. Amongst these various possibilities, we recommend the special family week in July, with get-togethers, discussions and entertainment for all the family. Then, throughout the summer, there are the classic craft and antique markets in the main streets of the town, as well as stalls selling natural products. Not to forget Acchiappasogni, the happening to attract you every Monday evening, with circus performances and street shows.
At the time of the Notte Rosa (Pink Night), Misano Adriatico is transformed into a huge theatre, with music, culture and entertainment to please both families and young people.
There’s a different programme every year, with free concerts, events for children, and shops and restaurants decked in pink and open all night long.
One of the most popular spectacles of the Notte Rosa in Misano is the Carnevale Rosa (Pink Carnival), an explosive mix of colours, music and folk tradition, with a parade of floats and pink costumes along the seafront and in Piazza della Repubblica.
All the hotels take part in the Carnevale Rosa event, including the Hotel Capitol, which invites guests to join its themed float during this memorable Summer New Year celebration.
Amongst the many events at Misano Adriatico, perhaps the most eagerly awaited is the Moto GP at the Marco Simoncelli Misano World Circuit, with motorcycle champions battling it out down to the last second. Romagna is a “land of motorbikes” and during the period of the Misano Moto GP, the whole town stages a series of shows and popular events, known as Motogweek. Attractions include Dedikato, an entertaining live talk show featuring riders and TV personalities, spectacular Ape cross and Speedway competitions, and processions of classic motorbikes.
However, holidays in Misano Adriatico also provide an opportunity to explore the craft markets in the town’s streets, with stalls offering memorabilia, antiques and natural products.
Misano Adriatico: events, entertainment and wellbeing will be essential features of your holiday! What’s more, there’s a free event in Misano every night of the week.
